No matter how much drivers try, adding fake passengers to ring in an HOV lane just doesn’t work.
The California Highway Patrol in Santa Fe Springs shared on Instagram that an officer pulled a vehicle over for having a plastic riding buddy in the passenger seat while in the HOV lane.
The post said one thing that gave the fake rider away: "The goatee was sharp. Just a little too sharp."
There was also the fact that the “passenger,” which had sunglasses on was dark orange.
Not even a bad spray tan is that bad! The driver was cited.
